WELCOME GAY NASCAR FANS.
Q4G was started in September of 2009 as a daily resource for gay fans of Motorsports.
Q4G founder, Michael Myers, said that he started Q4G as an online home for Gay NASCAR fans. “But more importantly, I want to bring new fans to the sport.” Myers went on to say that NASCAR fans have been more accepting of him being gay than gay people have been accepting of his being a NASCAR fan. “There are as many misconceptions and stereotypes about NASCAR fans as there are about gay people. I hope in some small way Queers4Gears can help to change that. This has been an incredible first year and I hope to build on the site’s success for years to come.”
Over the first two years, Queers4Gears has built a dedicated readership – currently the site averages over 12,000 monthly visitors.
Q4G has used social media effectively with over 3,800 followers on Twitter and a building list of friends on Facebook.
Q4G has been granted credentials and provided live coverage of NASCAR races since 2009 – well as races in the Indy Car Series and NHRA.
Q4G is a member of the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA).

Myers has been a guest several times on “Manifold Destiny” with Mojo Nixon on Sirius NASCAR Radio and he was a guest on “NASCAR Now on ESPN.” The site has been profiled and/or linked by some major web portals, including Jayski.com, Towleroad.com, AfterElton.com, TheAdvocate.com and The Huffington Post.
In 2010 Q4G brought on new NASCAR contributors to expand coverage and added new contributors to cover Indy Car and NHRA racing.

Hey Mike, got a great Idea for a Queers4Gears T-shirt: Use a Caution sign and put on there: “This Driver doesn’t only drive Straight” or “This Driver likes to Bump Draft”

Great site!! I thought I was the only gay NASCAR fan
… I actually drove in a local NASCAR division in California for about 5 years. I was never really out, but I don’t think I was fooling anyone either. Glad to have found this!
